My New Book Is Out!

I'm excited that my new book, The Talking About BPD Workbook: Reflections and Creative Prompts for Exploring Your Life with a Diagnosis of BPD, has finally hit the shelves! I started writing the book way back in December 2024 and, as of a few weeks ago, it's been in the hands of eager readers. That feels amazing.

It's is a reflective and exploratory workbook for exploring things like your identity, relationships, emotions, diagnosis and experiences of stigma.

It's ideal for anyone who is asking themselves questions such as:

✨How can I understand myself and my emotions more easily?

✨ How do I live the life I want, even when faced with stigma, confusion, loneliness and pain?

✨ How can I navigate relationships with my feelings and experiences?✨When, how and with whom can I be open about my life?

✨ How can I make sense of the many— sometimes conflicting— emotions I experience all at once?

✨ How do I untangle all the feelings I have about who I am, what I’ve been through and my diagnosis?

✨ Does anyone else feel like me or am I alone?✨How can I feel better about myself and recognise my strengths?

It's written in my characteristically warm, friendly and easy-to-read style. It's published by JKP who are a highly-regarded publisher (and for good reason...they have been brillaint to work with for this book and my first).

I'd like to share a few of the generous reviews I've had for this book to give you a sense of the kind of book it is.

  • 'Rosie brings her familiar compassion and authenticity to this workbook, generously sharing her wisdom and guiding the reader through activities designed to cultivate self-awareness and inspire change. An essential book for anyone struggling to make sense of life with BPD.' Katja Pavlovna, co-founder of Lives not Labels and co-author of Sorry My Mental Illness Isn't Sexy Enough for You

  • 'As interviewees have told me, living with BPD symptoms can be stressful and lonely, so Rosie's work to support people with a diagnosis is extremely valuable. Her books are an affordable self-directed intervention and I'm really grateful for her writing and insight for people with a BPD diagnosis.' Ellie Broughton, mental health journalist

  • 'The Talking About BPD Workbook is a must-read for anyone diagnosed with BPD themselves or who loves someone with a BPD diagnosis. Cappuccino provides comfort and clarity about BPD by sharing her own personal story while encouraging the reader to reflect and journal about their own personal experiences. As an experienced DBT therapist who has worked with many clients diagnosed with BPD, this book will be my go-to resource moving forward to help my clients feel inspired by Cappuccino's groundbreaking vulnerability, have compassion and understanding for their own struggles, and learn easy-to-implement tools.' Michelle Henderson, co-host of the DBT & Me podcast, co-author of DBT for Everyone: A Guide to the Perks, Pitfalls, and Possibilities of DBT for Better Mental Health.

I'm really keen to have feedback and/or reviews for my book so if you've read it and would like to share your thoughts, please feel free to say hi!

Both of my books are available worldwide from wherever you like to buy your books. The first book is available as an audiobook (narrated by me!) and both are available on Kindle.

As always, thank you to all my blog and book readers who show so much support for me. You give me strength to keep doing what I do.

Rosie x
