I've had to grapple with how I feel about the BPD diagnosis over the years. In writing my second book, I've had to interrogate my feelings and find a way of articulating the debates so they are somehow captured in my book. This hasn't been easy.
Funnily enough, a few weeks ago an email from brilliant journalist Ellie Broughton landed in my inbox. She was asking me if I wanted to share my perspective for her piece on BPD for Therapy Today, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) magazine. Here is the article— and I think Ellie has done justice to a complicated issue.
Thank you Ellie for giving me this opportunity to share some of my experiences with Therapy Today readers.
